I am writing regarding the continued spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States and abroad. Tradesmen recognizes the growing concern and will continue to closely monitor guidance issued by the World Health Organization and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) in its ongoing effort to protect the health and wellbeing of its employees, customers and the continuity of its business.
Tradesmen has assembled a response team that is actively reviewing policies and procedures as well as developing action plans in order to ensure Tradesmen is as prepared as possible for the continued spread of the virus. The response team will be communicating more details on the resources that will be made available to address employee questions and concerns. It should be noted that Tradesmen’s current policies and procedures, including those related to vacation and applicable sick leave laws, remain unchanged at this point in time.
Additional information about COVID-19, including the latest updates, prevention and treatment guidelines and FAQs, can also be found on the CDC website at www.cdc.gov. Please follow the CDC’s recommendations for prevention, including hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and avoiding unnecessary physical contact.
If you feel ill or are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please notify your supervisor that you are ill and remain away from work for the duration of your illness. If you are concerned about potential exposure to COVID-19 while on a client job site, please notify your Tradesmen field office immediately so that Tradesmen may promptly investigate and address your concern.
